Not a moment of inspiration—a connected pipeline for girls who will shape Africa’s technology future.
The thesis
A focused response to a visible gap.
One inspiring event can awaken curiosity. A connected pathway of practice, mentors, projects, visibility, and progression is what turns that curiosity into lasting power.
Powered Girl is built around a simple truth: talent is everywhere, but access, confidence, and opportunity are not. It gives girls repeated chances to code, build robots, explore artificial intelligence, solve meaningful problems, and learn alongside women whose careers make the future feel reachable.
Through connected clubs, an academy, a challenge, a national summit, and an opportunity network, Powered Girl makes inclusion structural rather than ceremonial. Its ambition is not merely to invite girls into somebody else’s future, but to equip them to design one of their own.
